Well the book that I am currently reading is The Heart Of Darkness. The setting of the book is really weird. It first starts off with a ship and the ships captian starts to talk about how he became the captain of that boat. The setting then changes to a river in Africa. The plot is that the main character goes into the jungle to get a job on a boat and he later finds out that there are natives that are being held as slaves. The book is no that clear on certain topics but if I were to say it was a good book I would be lying. I fall asleep everytime I open it and it doesn't seem to catch my attention. I wish I would have picked a different book. I know my group members hate me right now because I am the one who sugested the book. Well, the only thing that I can do is try to finish it and hope that it gets better.

hi furyyy! you're the only one that wrote a blog about this book so far, so i can ONLY comment you.
I like your about me its funny.
and I think you're correct when you said your group memebers must dislike you for picking this book!
I'll have to agree with you when you said that the book started out a little weird, nothing made sense to me! I can't wait to get to the interesting-er part of the book, if there is such thing! ok i have to go finish my blog, adios amigo. =]
.. i'm sure falling asleep isn't part of the assignment. and you suggested the book too! haha. too funny.
That's how I felt about my book, it'll get better I'm sure!
ooh dude if your books boring just take your book and hold it upside down...
with your feet...
while doing a handstand...
with your hands strapped into a snowboard...
going down ice capped mountains...
being chased by large wild ravenous polar bears...
which are being chased by slightly smaller, but exeptionally disgruntled pandas escaping from a local zoo upon discovering theres actually no such thing as bamboo, when they realized that they were simply eating twigs dipped in green paint...
during an earthquake of a ferocity so potentially legendary, it causes a behemoth of an avalanche, sending wave after wave of endless snow barrelling down the mountain side after you...
while drinking steaming hot cocoa filled with tiny marshmellows held in your other foot.
oh for a *cough..* 'real' comment, i would say that the style of writing might possibly be a tool in which the writer puts forth a feeling of a definitivly drab locale lacking any form of significant points of interest or surroundings.
The "surroundings" in this book are anything but drab. However, the language is just incredibly detail-oriented, which tends to be distracting if you're looking for an action-packed story.
